Role
Developer

I build things I wish already existed.

I build things I wish already existed.

I'm Parth — a Computer Science student at Graphic Era Hill University. I like taking rough ideas, figuring out what actually matters, and turning them into software that feels good to use.

I'm strongest on the product side of engineering, but I like knowing what's happening underneath the screen too — from APIs and databases to systems, deployment and the occasional bug that refuses to explain itself.

MY TOOLBOX

The stuff I reach for

A mix of tools I've actually spent time with — plus a growing list of things I'm currently trying to break, understand and build with.

No, I don't know every framework. Nobody does.

Tools change. Good engineering habits stick around.

THINGS I'VE BUILT

A few ideas that escaped the notes app

Some started as college projects. Some started as “wait, why doesn't this exist?” Either way, I like building them far enough to find the interesting problems.

toolsOngoing Project

ForgeFlow

Turn the boring steps into a workflow.

We got tired of creating the same files by copy-pasting things, running commands manually, checking terminal output and repeating the same steps. So we're building ForgeFlow — a workflow automation tool that uses Python libraries and AI to turn those repetitive steps into something the computer can handle on its own. Less copy-paste. Less terminal babysitting. More done.

ARANYA

From claim to impact.

ARANYA explores how fragmented Forest Rights Act records, evidence and claims can be turned into information that is easier to understand, connect, trace and act on. Focused on evidence registry, claim intelligence, provenance and traceability, legacy records processing, spatial map context, and AI-assisted information handling.

BUILD LOG

How I like to build

Less “I know everything.” More “give me the problem and let me figure it out.”

01

Start with the problem

Before reaching for a framework, I want to know what the thing is actually supposed to fix.

02

Make it work

Get the first version running. It will probably be ugly. That's fine.

03

Then make it good

Clean up the edges, fix the awkward parts, simplify what can be simplified and make the interface feel intentional.

04

Understand what's underneath

I like knowing why something works — not just which package made it work.

“My favourite debugging strategy is still staring at the code until it becomes embarrassed.”

A LITTLE CONTEXT

So, who is Parth?

I'm a Computer Science student who enjoys the whole process of building — the ridiculous first idea, the ugly prototype, the “why is this not working?” phase, and eventually the moment when it all clicks.

I started with the usual curiosity about code and kept following it into web apps, mobile products, AI, databases and systems. I still don't have everything figured out. That's part of what makes it fun.

Outside code, I've spent a fair amount of time around debating, MUNs, event organisation and people who enjoy arguing about whether a comma can change a resolution.

“I like software that works, interfaces that feel good, and projects that leave me with a better question than the one I started with.”

CURRENTLY OBSESSED WITH

Things I'm digging into

The rabbit holes currently winning.

AI Systems

How AI becomes part of a product instead of just a chat box.

Systems

Operating systems, concurrency, processes, memory and the machinery underneath the UI.

Distributed Software

What happens when one machine isn't enough — and when the network inevitably has other plans.

Data + Maps

Turning messy real-world information into something people can actually understand.

Developer Experience

Tools and interfaces that make complicated things feel simpler.

BEYOND THE CODE

People, projects & a few microphones

Software isn't the only thing I've spent time building.

Leadership2024 — Present

Director General

Graphic Era MUN Club

I help run the university's MUN club — planning events, coordinating people, handling the unexpected and making sure things keep moving when the schedule inevitably doesn't.

  • Hosted 2 college-scale events
  • Helped promote the club across 15–20 schools
  • Participated in 4 MUNs and won 2
  • Participated in an IIT Roorkee MUN

Turns out running an event and debugging an application have more in common than you'd think: something always breaks five minutes before the important part.

3 hackathons. A lot of caffeine.3 Hackathons

HACKATHONS

Hackaholic → iQOO Pune Hackathon

I like the part where an idea has to become a working demo before the clock runs out.

  • Hackathon journey: Hackaholic → other hackathon sprints → iQOO Pune Hackathon
  • Runner-up across hackathon experiences where applicable
  • Fast-paced prototyping, scoping features under constraints, and shipping functional code before the deadline
Academics2024 — 2028

Computer Science & Engineering

Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun

Studying computer science fundamentals — algorithms, data structures, databases, and system design.

  • Building real-world software across Web, Mobile, and AI
  • Balancing coursework with club leadership and active project builds
